In an atmosphere of fragrant faith that filled Egyptian hearts with remembrance of the birth of the Best of Creation ﷺ—an atmosphere in which the meanings of love were manifest—crowds of scholars, ministers, public figures, and worshippers gathered today, Wednesday, within the precincts of al-Azhar Mosque to revive the annual celebration of the Prophet’s birthday. The event was graciously sponsored by His Eminence the Grand Imam, Professor Dr. Aḥmad al-Ṭayyib, Shaykh al-Azhar.
