The President of the Evangelical Community in Egypt, Rev. Dr. Andrea Zakī, has spoken on the relationship between the Muslim Brotherhood and think tanks in the United States of America, expressing that strong bonds still exist between the two. Elsewhere, whilst speaking during a conference on diversity and social solidarity, he emphasized the important effect of new legislation in addressing issues related to the Christian community, for example, church building and divorce, and stressed the need to afford adequate importance to the issues of social solidarity, citizenship, and cultural diversity.
