During the opening of the Fourth Annual Forum for Archaeological Missions in Egypt, the Minister of Antiquities, Khalid al-‘Anānī said that the number of archaeological missions in Egypt is increasing on a continuous and unprecedented basis due to the existence of safety and security throughout the country. He pointed out that there are currently 250 missions from 25 countries around the world, and  that there are 80 Egyptian missions including 40 from different universities and 40 others from the Supreme Council of Antiquities.
