The parade of the ancient royal mummies arrived at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation (NMEC), after its journey that began from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.

The Pharaohs’ Golden Parade included 22 royal mummies (18 kings and four queens) dating back to the 17^th, 18^th, 19^th, 20^th dynasties. They include Ramses II, one of the most famous pharaohs, and Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s only woman pharaoh.
