Public prosecutor Ḥamāda al-Ṣāwī announced the formation of a new investigation team tasked with looking into the case of the murder of Italian student Giulio Regeni. The announcement was made via a statement issued by the prosecutor-general on Wednesday. The new team is to go through the files in the case, taking all the necessary investigative measures to uncover the truth with complete neutrality and independence.
