Christian lawyers defend the

supreme guide of the Muslim Brotherhood who is accused of insulting Egyptian

Christians.
Last April, one of

the weekly papers published declarations that were alleged to have

been made by the supreme guide of the Muslim

Brotherhood, in which he was said to have rejected the

existence of Christians in the army of any Islamic country,

including Egypt, especially in the case of war

against a Christian country. It was said also that he prefered for

Copts to pay special money [Jizia]

instead of joining the army. Amongst the ten lawyers defending him are three

Copts who give their opinions

on the case in this article.
