The victory of the

Moslem Brotherhood in the recent parliamentary elections in which they obtained 17 seats created many

speculations about what

they would do in the future, especially after they announced their intention to

form a new political party. al-Musawar

discarded the possibility of its forming a political party for seven

reasons. One reason is that the founder of the Moslem

Brotherhood wanted it to be a group and not a

political party. The second reason is that it will not be able to apologize

for all their violent crimes

in the past.
