The Christian managing editor of Al-Nabaa said that he was shocked when he knew that the paper’s editor-in -chief published the story of the expelled monk. He added that he objected to the publication, believing that it would harm religious feelings but the publication was already decided. He said that what the editor-in-chief did was a disaster, but he did not have bad intentions to damage the church, as he was not an extremist.
