Islam and Muslims have been facing a severe campaign since the September 11 events, and amidst this campaign, it is hard for Western audience to grasp the truth. Ibrahim Nafie, the editor-in-chief of al-Ahram newspaper, in his recent book “The madness of the green danger and the campaign to distort Islām.” The book is published by al-Ahram Center for Translation and Publishing in mid-September. The book is a serious attempt to correct notions the West have about the reality of Islām and a response to the distortion campaigns and the accusations that Muslims face after September 11.
