Cairo University holds a conference on building the principles of citizenship in Egypt. Advisor al-Sayyid Yāsīn of the al-Ahrām Center for Strategic Studies, attacked religious institutions for their lack of role in eliminating religious fanaticism between Muslims and Christians. He also attacked religious confusing Fatwás that do not depend on logic, and asserted that scientific research is necessary to overcome any problem or obstacle.
