Hilmī al-Namnam writes that there are enemies of the January 25 revolution inside and outside Egypt, who have an interest in scuppering the revolution, that is why they use the fitnah, the recent of which was in Imbābah.

He added that there is a salafī incitement for quiet some time, when they began demanding the release of the detained women who recently converted to Islam.

He writes that we should not forget the statement of the former chief of the Israeli Mossad, who talked about the Mossad's role in sparking fitnah in Egypt.

All these powers were able to spark fitnah because we [Egyptians] gave up our national identity for religious identity.
