Two opinion articles written by Midhat Qīlādah, executive director of the European Coptic Union and ‘Isām 'Abd Āllah 'Iskandar, Professor of Philosophy in Ain Shams University and a member of 25th revolution secretariat.

Qīlādah comments on an article written by author ‘Alā’ ‘Uraybī who wrote that he didn't like the declaration issued by the expatriate Copts, because in his opinion they insisted on being the "expatriate Copts" and chose to watch from faraway.

Qīlādah responded that this declaration is different from the wailing wall articles they used to write, because this declaration is an invitation to participate and interact with Egyptians.

On the contrary, 'Iskandar praised the expatriate Copts who haven't been usefully used because of the previous regime. He added that expatriate Copts were always seen as traitors for having another country's nationality.

He believes that expatriate Copts can form a vital bridge with their connections and potentials in Egypt (Muslims and Christians.)
