Speaking on the occasion, Pope Shenouda said, “I congratulate you on the start of a new era and the glorious Christmas that coincides with alarming atmosphere in which the people are wondering where Egypt is going. I would say that Egypt is definitely going to good prospects and blessings. I am not saying this out of optimism but rather out of trust in God that He will lead us in His right way. God loves Egyptians and Has peace and good things in store”.
