The International Union for Muslim Scholars (IUMS) warned about Pope Benedict XVI's visit to Lebanon on September 15 to sign his Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation on the Church in the Middle East, “Ecclesia in Medio Oriente”. 

This document contains dangerous ideologies such as calls to Christianize the world, warns about Islamizing and scaring Christians about political Islam in the region which can spark a fitnah between Muslims and Copts, especially because of the last produced film discrediting the Prophet Muhammad.
