The General Egyptian Agency for Books recently published an edition of its “Societal Sciences” series called “From the Secret Archives of Egyptian Culture” by Ghālī Shukrī. In the book introduction Ghālī writes, “this book is merely a drop in the sea in terms of the errors and crimes that the Egyptian Right has committed against our culture and intellectuals.” He also explained that the entire file was still hidden because the remainder was in the possession of multiple parties and no one party had all of the remaining pages. He claimed that whoever opens the file of the June 30^th revolution would see the truth of the Egyptian Right and how it wants to return to the past.
