The Ministry of Exterior: The Israeli General Coordinator of the Ministry of Exterior visited Egypt and Cairo did not object

A diplomatic source denied the rumor about the intervention of Egypt towards a truce between Israel and Hamas, stating that this was not the agenda of the meeting held yesterday between the Assistant of the Egyptian Exterior Minister, ambassador Usāma al-Majdūmb and the Israeli General Coordinator of the Foreign Ministry Dore Gold, in his first visit to Cairo since the beginning of his office. The main reason for the meeting was Gold’s wish to visit Egypt, to which Cairo did not oppose, using this opportunity to discuss the Palestinian issue, pushing towards a just solution for both peoples.
