The Egyptian Moral Rearmament Association (EMRA) celebrated its thirtieth anniversary on the 29^th and 30^th of November 2019 in the Green Desert Hotel north west of Cairo. Sixty-four participants attended over the two days. It was attended by four generations. The EMRA is part of the international network of Initiatives of Change (IofC), an international peace movement. A major key document in this celebration was the document Human Fraternity for world peace and living together of H.H. Pope Francis, head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State, and his Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb [Aḥmad al-Ṭayyib].
