David Friedman, the US ambassador to Israel, played down the alleged links between Trump administration and the rise of anti-Semitism and xenophobia in the US. Friedman declared himself against “any attempt to turn anti-Semitism into a political affair.” According to Friedman, since the beginning of Trump’s presidency many people have tried to associate him with the extreme right. However, the right-wing extremists themselves rejected Trump and said they are against him.
