It is something ordinary to have a Ramadan tent in an expensive hotel. The surprise of this Ramadan is a new kind of tents, an Islamic tent that is called Al-Iman [faith]. Instead of presenting artistic numbers, the host presents handsome preachers. The guests of honor are the President of the Azhar University, Sheikh Attiyya Saqr, and Amr Khaled, the AUC- sheikh [AUC is the American University in Cairo]. The general coordinator of the evenings is media man Ali Abdel-Halim, a graduate of the Faculty of ’Usul Al-Din [Islamic Fundamentals]. When asked about the idea of the tent, the coordinator said people are spending their evening listening to religion, instead of songs.
