Anger among the Muslim minority community in Europe has increased because of provocative statements against Islamic culture made by former British Archbishop of Canterbury Lord George Carey. The Times predicted that Carey’s latest stance would cast its shadow over the conference organized by Muslim and Christian academics, who will meet next week in Washington responding to an invitation by Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams.
