These days, Arab newspapers are full of commentaries putting the blame on Muslims for terrorism and others practiced self-flagellation and self-hatred to the extent that they claimed the history of Muslims is a history of oppression, tyranny and baseness. No one asks himself whether what is happening is the rule or the exception, and why terrorist incidents take place in certain countries and not in others. What are the historical circumstances of these incidents and are these incidents associated with the cultures of the countries in which they occurred? And why did all the terrorists happen to be Muslim, as a colleague wrote?
