In an interview with al-Misrī al-Yawm, Dr. Muhammad Sa‘d al-Katātnī said that the group does not intend to appoint a representative to run for the upcoming parliamentary elections. He added that the “Islam is the answer” slogan is the Muslim Brotherhood’s official slogan and that it is not religious, but electoral and in line with the second article of the constitution.
