Influenced by the revolutionary climate prevailing in the Arab world, the young Palestinians organized huge demonstrations in several Palestinian cities, calling for an end to the rift between Hamās and Fatah.

They swiftly responded to this call, announcing that they are ready to meet and discuss how to reunite under a single Palestinian authority. Both parties need to realize more than ever that a united stand will benefit the Palestinian cause and that the citizens who have suffered so long because of their leaders' narrow-minded policies won't remain silent forever.

Meanwhile, Israel continues to build more settlements, swallowing more and more Palestinian land.
