The Association of Victims of Personal Status for Orthodox Copts rejected lawsuit 28032 filed by Pope Tawāḍrūs which challenges an administrative court’s ruling that compels the Church to permit Christians to marry a second time. The Pope’s lawsuit seeks to nullify the administrative court’s decree requiring the Church to permit second marriages.
