Abū Siʿda: the inspection of police departments is a big step towards the protection of human rights

 Hāfiz Abū Siʿda, president of the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights, announced that the appointment by Attorney General Hishām Barakāt of prosecutors for police departments is the biggest step taken so far in the protection of human rights. He gave specific instructions to the public chief prosecutors to carry out the inspections without warning the police officials in advance.
