The parliamentary Committee on Arab and Foreign Affairs and National Security strongly denounced the recent massacre at the “Sayyidat al-Najāh” church in Baghdad. It issued a statement saying that the act defies all religious teachings and that “houses of God” should be respected. They also called on the Iraqi people to stick together and be strong for the sake of their country.
