Bishop Ermia, the president of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, has spoken about the late Pope Kyrillos VI during an interview with al-Waṭan newspaper. He described Pope Kyrillos VI as a devout man of prayer who was chosen by the heavens and who displayed a great love for the Church and its congregation. Bishop Ermia also drew attention to the scholarly work of Pope Kyrillos, as seen through his published articles in Mināʾ al-Khalās magazine and his papal sermons.
